LIVE WEBINAR
ESG - What You Need to Know Now

SEPTEMBER
15th
11:00am ET

Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) is a measure of how well an organization is doing in terms of sustainable, responsible and ethical practices. Companies pursuing ESG need to be at a high level of managing not only their key environmental and safety regulatory responsibilities, but also the organization’s overall impact on its workforce, its community and the planet as a whole. They also need to collect and share key metrics to assess their own performance and to share with stakeholders.

This webinar will provide an introduction to the world of ESG, and explain the factors driving its increasing importance to businesses, investors and communities. Along the way, we'll examine the shift from a traditional EHS management perspective to an ESG perspective, and look at the key considerations a company interested in ESG will need to manage.

Attendees of this webinar will learn:

  • The high level of environmental performance needed, including not just compliance with applicable regulations such EPCRA and RCRA but also a robust reporting framework for greenhouse gases (GHGs), reduction of energy and water consumption, and life cycle management of products.
  • The key elements of social management, including safety management, diversity equity and inclusion (DEI), management of psychosocial risks, compensation and incentives, and relationships with people and communities more generally.
  • Components of "governance," including structure of management, executive compensation plans, and accountability of company leaders for meeting ESG goals
  • First steps for organizations looking to start their journey to ESG from a traditional EHS perspective, and the ways software can help.
